Responsibilities

• Lead the development of lighting concepts from design brief through project completion.
• Prepare detailed lighting layouts, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation using Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, and related software.
• Produce high-quality 2D and 3D lighting visualizations and client presentations.
• Perform advanced photometric calculations and ensure compliance with international lighting standards and project requirements.
• Select and specify luminaires based on design intent, technical performance, energy efficiency, and budget.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, and project managers to deliver integrated lighting solutions.
• Review drawings and technical submissions to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior lighting designers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to support project execution and resolve technical challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends, lighting technologies, and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in architectural lighting design or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit, AGi32, Photoshop, SketchUp, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of lighting design principles, photometrics, controls, energy codes, and international lighting standards.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, or large-scale architectural projects is highly preferred.

Working Schedule in UAE time

Monday to Fridays 9:00am – 6:30pm
Saturday 9:30am – 12:30pm
Sunday – off
Total working hours: 48 hours
